What founders get wrong about delegation
Delegating tasks is easy. Delegating decisions is the job.

Founders tell me they delegate well, and they usually do: they hand over tasks all day. What they keep is the right to change their mind, which means they have delegated nothing.
A delegated decision has three parts: what is being decided, the limits, and a promise not to overrule it inside those limits. The promise is the hard part. Without it, every decision you hand over comes back to your desk, one polite question at a time.
Start small. Pick one decision you make every week, write down the limits, hand it over, and keep your promise for a month.
