Hiring
The first 90 days of a new COO
What to hand over, in what order, and what to keep.

A new COO fails most often in the first quarter, and rarely for lack of skill. They fail because the founder hands over tasks but keeps the decisions.
Week one: write down the ten decisions they now own. Month one: stop attending two of your recurring meetings. Day ninety: review together what you overruled, and why. If the list is long, the problem is not the hire.
