Your org chart is not the problem
Before you redraw the boxes, count the decisions that cross them.

Every reorg I have been asked to review moved people and left decisions where they were. Draw your org chart, then draw the ten decisions that matter most this quarter as arrows between the boxes. If most arrows cross three boxes or end at the founder, a new chart will not help.
Move the decisions first. The boxes often turn out to be fine.
